My friends Laura and Murray were married last night! Murray is 73 and Laura is 56. They have been together for 8 years and decided to tie the knot. I am so happy for them. I admire their lifestyle. They travel as often as they can. They produce, direct and act in local theater. They have their own theater company and they put on plays about 4 times a year. The rest of the time they are visiting family and friends and hiking where ever their boots will take them. They come to visit us in their Motor Home every summer and stay for about a week. They are taking the trip of a lifetime to Europe in May for 6 weeks. They do not hold back on life. Murray is a retired detective from LAPD (CSI) and since retiring has not stopped. They do not consider retirement as a time to sit and do nothing. They use no excuses for not going somewhere or doing something. They want to experience life.
When they were here this summer Mike flew the four of us to Friday Harbor, San Juan Islands, which is about an hours plane ride. Laura was terrified especially when Mike let Murray fly the plane. They did it though. It was a beautiful day.
We met Murray and Laura in the Caribbean earlier this year, we would have never done or thought of doing this if Murray had not insisted we had no excuses. I am glad I stepped outside of my comfort zone. It was a wonderful vacation and all was well at home. What nice memories.
Again Iadmire Laura and Murray. They create their happiness.

I think that is what life is all about! You can't change the things that happen to you on a daily basis, you can only take each moment that is good and enjoy it while it is happening, the rest is just what it is!
P.S. Aunt Mary there are times that I PRAY for a hot flash! ;) As for the mask it just continues to ooze it's love and protection for me!
Oh, and no I did not do any of those pictures on that Mosaic but I plan to do some with my own pictures!
That is what Brian and I hope to be like when he retires! We would LOVE to travel and see the world together! I admire their ambitions. You are lucky to know them, it is wonderful to have friends that inspire you.
